Yes, we do have a swimming pool. It is a warm water pool heated to 91 degrees! It can be used for therapeutic purposes and many of our residents enjoy pool classes as well as free swim time.

In Independent Living, eight dinner meals or Sunday brunch are included in the rent.
In Assisted Living and Dementia Care, three meals a day are optional.

No, however, many of our apartments have ample storage right in the apartment.

Yes, it is heated to 50 degrees at an additional fee. There is enough parking for all interested.

In Independent Living, all utilities are included with the exception of electricity and a land-line phone. The utilities included are; heat/air-conditioning, cable tv/wifi internet, water, sewer and trash/recycling in addition to maintenance and upkeep of all common areas within the building.

In Assisted Living and Dementia Care all utilities are included with the exception of a land-line phone.

Independent Living is similar to living in your own home, but the access to all the amenities Parkshore has to offer, along with 8 meals per month.

Assisted Living and Dementia Care include housekeeping assistance and daily wellness checks in addition to a call pendant to use when assistance is needed and 24/7 access to our on-site care team. Three meals a day are served in our dining room which residents have the option of choosing to partake in.

Not necessarily. If your loved one is not wandering and is still able to push a personal call pendant, they may be suitable for assisted living. We have a registered nurse available to do an assessment to determine whether or not your loved one is appropriate for assisted living or truly needs a secure memory care neighborhood.

YES-All apartments have kitchens with the exception of our two suites in our reflections neighborhood. All Independent apartments offer full kitchens including a sink with garbage disposal, frost-free refrigerator, an electric range and dishwasher. All Assisted Living apartments and Dementia Care apartments have sinks, frost-free refrigerator and electric stove. (use of stoves is determined on a case-by-case basis)

We allow cats, birds, and fish. There is a $500 pet fee, and a $25/month pet fee.

We are a private pay community, and we don’t accept any government assistance.

No. We require a $2000 refundable, security deposit. There is no initial buy-in. Rent is charges on a month-to-month basis.

YES, we have registered nurses onsite seven days a week during business hours and on call24/7/365. Nurses are available to assist residents living in assisted living and dementia care. In our Independent Living apartments, there is not a nurse available.

In Independent Living, there is an emergency “call” pull cord in the bedroom(s) and bathroom that alerts community first responders (fireman, paramedics) similar to calling 9-1-1 from your own home. In Assisted Living, there is a personal pendant that alerts our onsite staff to tend to emergencies.

Our wait list varies between apartment styles. Since COVID-19, it’s been more difficult to predict.

Our wait list is flexible. If you choose to say ‘no’ when we offer you an apartment, you don’t fall to the bottom of the wait list. We simply go to the next person.

As homes have been selling very quickly in the current market, we highly recommend you reserve your apartment and then put hour home on the market.

Yes, we have scheduled shuttle service to the area shopping, dining, medical appointments and special activities.
